Technical Proposal Writing & Editing
At RWAR we have led the primary authorship of proposal technical narratives for winning proposals ranging from a single to hundreds of pages. We are experts and clearly and succinctly communicating technical concepts, approaches, and requirements in a manner that is easily understood by readers in a manner designed to clearly communicate the value of the proposed technology, application, research, or product offering. We pride ourselves in our ability to quickly understand hard technical concepts and clearly articulate how they will be applied to achieve proposed offering. When serving as reviewers, we apply the "Five C's of Proposal Review" - Coherence, Completeness, Compliance, Consistency, and Correctness (for more information see: URL) - to ensure a robust and structured review and generation of actionable feedback (or optionally direct edits). KPI Strategy and Quantification
Developing a good business development strategy is challenging, and as a result it is important to ensure your organization establishes metrics to monitor progress and risks, forecasts that are appropriately calibrated to probable outcomes and timelines, and performance indicators to quantify success (e.g., win rate, profitability). RWAR has the strategy and business development expertise necessary to help you both: (i) mature your business development strategy and operations to help mitigate the risks associated with the uncertainty of proposal-based business development; and, (ii) better integrate business development into your organization's broader R&D and product development pursuits.
Program Management and Technical Execution Leadership
Whether internally or externally funded, business development does not end when a program kicks off. Program Management and Technical Program leadership are required to balance the competing priorities (e.g., how to interpret customer insights, how to abide by contractual requirements without inhibiting research, how to ensure technical staff and resources are correctly prioritizing value-add components of the work, how to work effectively with subcontractors and vendors) that organizations face when developing new technology driven product and service offerings. RWAR personnel have served as Principal Investigators, Technical Leads, Program Managers, and Technical Program Managers (often dual-hatting it) for over 100 programs, across a broad range of scopes, scales, durations, complexities, and contractual terms and conditions.
